ITC-AeroLeasing, Inc. (“ITC”) has structured new leases with SAF Helicopteres SAS (“SAF”) for five (5) Airbus Helicopters H135s. The five (5) helicopters will initially be deployed between three (3) French medical bases in Aurillac, Rodes, and Toulouse.
ITC has historically financed aircraft operating in Europe for many years, particularly from 2015, since which time the company has regularly financed aircraft providing air services subject to European Commission Public Service Obligations. However, more recent times have seen ITC extend its focus to European Emergency Medical Services (“EMS”). “We are very pleased to see our European EMS portfolio grow,” says Mr. Nakayama, ITC’s founder and chairman. “SAF has been an excellent partner for us to solidify our foothold in the European EMS market,” he continues.
ITC is a Japan-based company which has been actively structuring aircraft leases and financing with a heavy emphasis on social responsibility. The company’s two principal areas of interest have been EMS and essential/public services.
The H135 helicopter is one of the most popular small twin-engine helicopters in global operation, with more than 1,400 delivered to date, operating in approximately sixty (60) countries. The H135 is most commonly used for EMS missions, with almost 62% of H135s around the world allocated to EMS contracts.
As a family-owned aircraft leasing and trading company with strong ethics and moral values, ITC always endeavors to build long-standing relationships with its customers and partners – we will continue to do so, particularly in light of current global events and market challenges.
